Applications for Associate Professorship to be Accepted Only through E-Government Gateway

The Interuniversity Council (UAK) completed the work it had been carrying out to facilitate and accelerate the application process for associate professorship and launched the system for associate professor candidates, which enables the applicants to apply through the e-Government Gateway.

Accordingly, associate professor candidates will now be able to carry out all application procedures through the Associate Professorship Information System (DBS) found on the e-Government system. Applications will only be accepted online.

Candidates could apply for associate professorship by logging in https://dbs.yok.gov.tr/ using their identity numbers and e-Government passwords. The Interuniversity Council (UAK) will not accept tangible documents starting from March 2019.

In this context, the candidates can apply for the March 2019 Period through the Associate Professorship Information System between March 15 and March 29, 2019, the end of business day. Associate professor candidates should not send their tangible documents to UAK.

The documents of the candidates will be received from the databases listed below and transferred to the Associate Professorship Information System:

  • Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degree diplomas, their equivalent documents and graduate thesis if available, will be received from the databases of CoHE and UAK.
  • Foreign language certificates will be received from the database of OSYM.
  • Articles that were scanned by ULAKBIM, SCI/SSCI and AHCI will be received from the databases of the relevant institutions.
