Our University's Animal Hospital started to serve

The 'Animal Hospital', which was established under the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine within our university, received a license from Bingöl Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and started to provide health services to animals with high-level facilities.

In the hospital, where there are 4 departments - internal medicine, obstetrics, surgery and artificial insemination- biochemical, hematological and pathological analyzes can be performed in advanced laboratories for the diagnosis of sick animals. In the hospital where the first aid is given to the animals, the disease is determined by using doppler, ultrasound, endoscopy, x-ray and devices in the intensive care unit. Stating that the animal hospital will serve not only the city but also the region, our rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Çapak remarked: “ There are rooms for cattle and small cattle. A very ideal environment was generated for the treatment of animals. There is also an office for our Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. As a team and the city, we are making an effort to ensure that the animal hospital serves the region in a well-equipped manner”.
