The Departments of History, English Language and Literature, and Sociology within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Bingöl University have been accredited by FEDEK, bringing their educational quality in line with national and international standards.
The accreditation, granted by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Programs in Faculties of Science, Arts and Sciences, Language and History-Geography (FEDEK), certifies that the educational processes of these departments meet established quality standards. As part of the accreditation process, various aspects were thoroughly evaluated, including the quality of academic programs, the adequacy of academic staff, student-centered approaches, research activities, and institutional development efforts. Following these comprehensive assessments, the three departments within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Bingöl University were deemed eligible for FEDEK accreditation.
In his statement, the Rector of Bingöl University, Erdal Çelik, emphasized that this achievement is a significant indicator of the university’s quality-oriented education approach and expressed his gratitude to all academic and administrative staff who contributed to the process.
This accreditation is expected not only to enhance the quality of education received by students but also to strengthen the academic and professional competitiveness of graduates.
