Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Erdal Çelik, has achieved a significant academic distinction by being elected as a Full Member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) during the elections held as part of the Academy’s 63rd General Assembly.
The 63rd General Assembly and General Assembly Conference of TÜBA was held on 27 June at EBS Hotel with the participation of academy members, university rectors, and heads of various institutions. As a result of the voting conducted during the General Assembly, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Erdal Çelik, was elected as a Full Member of the Academy in recognition of his outstanding scientific achievements, distinguished academic career, and valuable contributions to higher education.
Election as a Full Member of TÜBA, one of Türkiye’s most prestigious scientific institutions, is regarded as a significant recognition of scientific excellence, academic competence, and contributions to national science policies. The election of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Erdal Çelik, reflects not only his personal academic accomplishments but also the growing scientific capacity, research excellence, and academic vision of our University.
Prof. Dr. Erdal Çelik’s election as a Full Member of TÜBA will further strengthen our University’s visibility on both national and international academic platforms.
