In Turkish Republic, all kinds of animal experiments are carried out according to “Universal Declaration of Animal Rights”, “European Convention for the Protection of Vertebrate Animals used for Experimental and Other Scientific Purposes” and “The Operation, Procedures and Principles of the Ethics Committees of Animal Experiments by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation”.
At Bingöl University, all animal experiments and relevant activities are performed after approval of Bingöl University Local Ethics Committee for Animal Experiments.
Any kind of application to the committee has to be done at the first week of each month. Upon the investigation of the applications the committee assembles at the last week of the month. Then the committee makes its decision about the convenience of the experiment.
