Cooperation Protocol Signed Between Our University and Azerbaijan Beekeepers Association

A cooperation protocol was signed between the delegation of our University, which participated in the seventh INCSOS Karabakh International Social Sciences Congress held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, on 2-4 June 2022, in which our university is also in the organizing committee, and the Azerbaijan Republic Azerbaijan Beekeepers Association (Azerbaijan Beekeepers Association).

The cooperation protocol signed in Baku, the Capital of Azerbaijan, was signed by our Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Çapak on behalf of our University, and by Bedreddin Hesretov, the President of the Azerbaijan Beekeepers Association, on behalf of Azerbaijan. With the signed cooperation protocol, it is aimed to exchange information between the two institutions, to organize scientific conferences, symposiums and seminars, to make academic exchanges with the consent of both parties and to carry out joint scientific studies.

“We Are Ready For All Kinds Of Cooperation”

Our Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Çapak, who made statements about the cooperation protocol, stated that he was extremely happy to be in Azerbaijan. Rector Çapak, who gave information about Bingöl University and the studies carried out in the field of specialization, underlined that beekeeping is very important in Bingöl and that Bingöl honey is the second in the world. Capak also stated that they are ready for any kind of cooperation on joint working issues with Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan Beekeepers Association Sedri Bedreddin Hesretov stated that they care about Bingöl University's visit and that they are also happy that the visit was a Rector-level visit. He also said that they are organized in 4 provinces and 44 districts as the Azerbaijan beekeepers union.
