Our University Attended INCSOS VII. Karabakh International Social Sciences Congress

The VII. INCSOS Karabakh International Social Sciences Congress, in which our university is also in the organizing committee, was held on 2-4 June 2022 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The Rector of our University Prof. Dr. İbrahim Çapak, the Pilot University Coordination Center Unit Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nusret Özbay and Faculty of Agriculture Deputy Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şenol Çelik attended the VII. INCOS Karabakh International Social Sciences Congress, which was organized in cooperation with the International Balkan University (Macedonia) and Azerbaijan ADA University, under the auspices of Prof.  Dr. Mustafa Şentop, President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and Prof. Dr. Sahibe Gafarova, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

“We Will Continue to Support the Righteous Cause of the Azerbaijani People”

President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şentop, who made the opening speech of the congress with the special file of 'Karabakh' this year, emphasized that they will continue to support the just cause of the brotherly Azerbaijani people for the establishment of lasting peace in the Caucasus. Şentop said that they want Azerbaijan's rightful cause to be known by the international community, and that they organized such a congress under the auspices of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and the Azerbaijan National Assembly to draw the attention of both the media and the academic world to the Karabakh issue.

“Azerbaijan is of Great Importance to Us as a Brother and Friendly Country”

Making evaluations about Bingöl University's participation in the congress, our Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Çapak said, “Azerbaijan is of great importance for us as a brotherly and friendly country. As a university, we attended the congress with three oral presentations. This year, more than 40 university rectors attended the congress as well as academicians. This is an indication of the value we attach to Azerbaijan.”
